Mining and metallurgical equipment is selected around material characteristics and plant integration. A crusher, screen, conveyor or separation unit may be mechanically usable, but the project only succeeds when feed size, product target, wear condition, throughput and site infrastructure are evaluated together.

Define the material and output target

Provide the ore or aggregate type, feed size distribution, moisture, abrasiveness, required product sizes and expected tons per hour. These facts influence crusher chamber selection, screen aperture, conveyor sizing and wear-part planning. A capacity figure without material data is rarely enough for a dependable equipment decision.

Inspect mechanical condition where it matters most

For crushers, inspect liners, main shaft area, bearings, lubrication, drive components and frame condition. For screens and conveyors, examine decks, exciters, belts, rollers, motors and support structures. Clear video, maintenance history and available spare parts help separate a usable asset from equipment that will require extensive rebuilding.

Consider the complete plant interface

Check the feed and discharge heights, conveyors, transfer chutes, foundations, electrical supply and dust-control needs. Oversized equipment requires an early plan for lifting, dismantling, containerization or break-bulk shipping. Confirm what is included so that motors, guards, control panels and auxiliary units are not assumed.
