Define process-critical requirements
Document the media, concentration, temperature, pressure, corrosion risk, agitation duty, heat-transfer needs and emission controls. These conditions determine the acceptable materials of construction and the level of inspection required for any used process equipment.
Review integration and safety
Confirm connection sizes, instrumentation, motors, electrical classification, foundations, lifting points and access for maintenance. Buyers should also plan how equipment will connect to existing piping, utilities and control systems before purchase.
Use inspection data to reduce risk
Request recent photos, drawings, nameplates, dimensions, weight and known condition notes. Where the project is high value or safety critical, arrange a qualified inspection and establish exactly what accessories are included before export packing begins.
